Question

My project uses Beta 4 of Entity Framework Power Tools, however I can't produce POCO from the database.

I tried using Visual Studio 2012 and Visual Studio 2013 but they didn't work. But in the previous year, that was effective (the last time when I used the Power Tools). Have a fresh issue?

And I've been using EF5 and EF6 throughout the past year.

Accepted Answer

Security was the issue. The Persist Security setting in the Advanced Wizard needed to be set to true.

I found the solution on the comments of the webpage of the EF Power Tools product; http://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/72a60b14-1581-4b9b-89f2-846072eff19d In connection wizard, Advanced should be clicked and the value of Persist Security Info should be True. If anyone can answer the original question and explain what is going on when you do this, I might tick them the answer!

I'm not sure why EF sent me a notice saying that it was "Ready" if I had a problem, but this solved it;
